2 years ago we fulfilled our island dream. Except, instead of some warm exotic white sandy beach in Asia, we moved to the Pacific Northwest of USA surrounded by frigid cold water.
Armed with exceptional local produce, I revisited recipes from my roots & my past life. These were stove to table meals we gathered around to graze on, from our famous all-day kitchen parties. This is a log of 'what's in my food' & 'omg how did you make that?', more than precise recipes.
