PRIVATE CHEF TASTING MENUS

A series of exclusive, multiple course, grazing menu. Bookings required at least a week in advance.

Minimum 12 persons.

Service

Includes chef & a butler(s). Please allow at least 2-3 hours for menu service.  After-event cleaning available for $150. 

Prices

Price includes serve ware, standard white flatware and applies to Bainbridge Island only.  Additional charges may apply to other areas in the Greater Seattle area or outside of Washington State. 


Excludes tax, 18% production charge & 18% gratuity. 

*rates are subject to inflationary adjustments.

Our plates are designed to be shared family style. Our private chef cooks on-premise a selection of high-quality & fun dishes, enjoy the variety. The bigger the group the more flavors you can try. We believe food is best enjoyed freshly made, so our dishes are brought to you as they are being prepared – some are fast or around the room as your guests arrive, some take a little longer. Enjoy grazing! This is a private event chef service, we prepare on-site and use your kitchen & amenities. Please ensure all prep & service areas are clear and cleaned before our arrival. We do come with our own specialized crockery & serving platters.

BabaYaya is our Southern Chinese & SEA straits-Chinese menu celebrating Peranakan cuisine. 


The mix of Chinese, Malay & Thai food pays homage to the Nyonyas.

Who or What is BabaYaya?

Babayaya is so named after the straits chinese (Peranakan) who settled in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesian and Thailand. They are the descendents of intermarriages between Southern Chinese and Malays in the archipelago. 

A female Peranakan is known as 'nyonya' or ‘yaya’ and a male is 'baba'. 

The old Malay word nyonya, a term of respect and affection for women of prominent social standing (part "madame" and part "auntie"), has come to refer to the cuisine of the Peranakans.
